Master Reseller Hosting FAQ
What is master reseller hosting?
A reseller account that can create other reseller accounts. You get WHM, and inside it you can hand out both ordinary cPanel accounts to clients and WHM accounts to people who will resell under you — every plan in this line states unlimited WHM accounts.
How is it different from regular reseller hosting?
One thing: the WHM accounts. Plain reseller hosting lets you create cPanel accounts for clients; master reseller lets you also create resellers who create their own. If nobody is going to resell under you, the plain tier is cheaper and does the same job.
Can I create unlimited reseller accounts?
Yes — unlimited WHM accounts is stated on all five plans here. The allowance that does differ between plans is the cPanel-account one: 20, 30, 40, 100 and Unlimited. The comparison table above shows exactly which plan gives which.
Can I use my own nameservers?
Yes. Every plan in this line states private nameservers, so you register something like ns1.yourbrand.com, point it at the server, and your clients and resellers configure your nameservers rather than ours.
Is a domain reseller account included?
Yes, every plan here states a free domain reseller entitlement, so you can sell domain registrations alongside the hosting rather than sending people elsewhere for them.
Why are some plans monthly and others yearly?
Because that is how they are priced in our billing system — Basic and Smart are set up annually, Business, Professional and Unlimited monthly. Rather than convert one into the other and risk showing you a figure you would not be charged, each tab lists the plans that term really covers.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. Open the service in your dashboard and choose Upgrade / Downgrade — you are billed the difference rather than starting again. If you outgrow this tier, Alpha Reseller is the next step up.
What kind of support do I get?
